Love the Lord your God with all your heart |
I am not a fan of most Christian novels, nor particularly interested in books with romances near the center stage. This one, however, held my attention cover to cover because it talks about real world issues which the Church needs to recognize and address. This is not a book where the answers come easily, and some of the events the lead character walks through are disturbingly realistic. It is worth your time and penny

Dangerous Relations |
Dangerous relations is a vert touching and beautifully told story. The author describes the main characters' emotions of loneliness, fear, and longing in an amazingly realistic way... you feel like you're living the story.Their religious faith is also very inspiring and is helping me with my own relationship with God.

5 Stars. What an ending I have loved every minute I have spent reading each book in this series, this book being no different! I honestly didn't think it would be possible to top each book I have read and yet Anne Perreault has managed to do it every time. I found it interesting that the hero and heroine were both struggling in their walks with God in this book. Although both had the foundation, both struggled for different reasons. That really amped this book up so much more. There were souls that needed saving. I have to say I am super impressed with Ms. Perreault's talent. She writes with such a complete Biblical outlook, while at the same time not shying away from real world situations. That is something I appreciate when it comes to reading Christian books. I don't want fluffy, happy go lucky, everything ties up in a pretty ribbon. I want dirt, grit, real life where bad things do happen and things don't always work out with a cheerful happy ending. Let's face it - life offers no guaranteed happy endings. While I do read to escape from my day to day life I prefer a Christian book that is realistic. Far too often people think accepting Christ means life will be smooth sailing. It doesn't. I would rather read something that let's me see these perfectly imperfect characters reacting to real situations in a Christian manner. It makes it easier to apply to my own life, thereby giving me points of reference to apply the Biblical principles in my own life. I was really impressed with this entire series. I look forward to seeing what else this particular author has written. I have found a new author to keep track of! |
