Ryley, Yellowstone Descendants book 2

Their cover is a lie. The danger is real. Their faith must save them.Ryley McClintoch is a respectable deputy. Or at least, she's aiming to be. She loves the quiet charm, familiar faces, and sense of community in the small town she calls home, and she’s proud to protect it.
Until she is caught in a compromising situation in front of the whole town, and everything changes. Rumors and accusations fly, threatening to ruin her stellar reputation.
When an opportunity to join forces with the FBI arises, she has the chance to change her situation. All it will take is a little white lie.
Is it worth it to add another sin to her repertoire?
FBI agent Cole Townsend has grown to respect Deputy McClintock. But her madcap methods tend to disrupt his orderly proceedings. Now they’ve barely started working on their new mission, and Ryley is already throwing monkey wrenches into his carefully laid plans. Going undercover with her might be damaging to his own health or... God forbid... his reputation.
When they are thrown together as fake husband and wife, things unravel quickly. How can Cole keep Ryley safe when she is constantly getting herself into trouble? And what happens if they fail to complete their assignment?
Will they come away from this mission unscathed, or does God have a bigger plan for both of them?
"You have good taste. And they actually fit.”
He shrugged. “Of course they do. We have a file on you with all sorts of information. Even your ring size.” He wanted to smile because of the way she looked at him, a mix between horror and amusement. Nevertheless, he remained stoic. There was maybe a tick in his cheek muscle.
“I don't know how I feel about that,” she finally breathed.
“We're the FBI. We know things,” he said darkly. “There is a tracking device in both.”
She twisted the rings on her finger. “You Feds are so clever.”
